JBRL Electric Series Make-Up Race Tomorrow

Just a reminder to those who were rained out at the scheduled Round 1 at Hot Rod Hobbies, the make-up race (which will count in the results as Round 1) is being held tomorrow (Sunday)! The track is being run dry for today's club races and it looks like the weather is going to be great this weekend, so the track should be nice and hooked up for the JBRL racers. Hope to see you there - track opens at 6:00am for practice and racing starts at 9:00am sharp!

Hot Rod and the JBRL sponsoring racer Rip Michels

Hot Rod Hobbies and the JBRL are proud announce a four-race sponsorship deal with Rip Michels, at Toyota (Irwindale) Speedway! Hot Rod's and the Jimmy Babcock Racing League will be featured on the hood and quarter panel of Rip's super late-model race car, in the premiere division. This weekend (Saturday) will be the first of the four-race deal, with races following on the Saturdays of June 20th and July 11th.

Rip comes into Saturday second place in points, thirty points behind the current leader. Rip's super late model will also be on display at the Hot Rod Hobbies Shootout, the day of the main events (Sunday)!

Saturday club racing scheduling change

Just a note to all of you weekend warriors...the decision has been made to push the start time of our off-road club racing on Saturday afternoons to 4:00pm, beginning with our June 6th race. Again, this change will not be in effect until June 6th - until then, our start time will remain 2:00pm. Hope to see you out there!
