JBRL Electric Round #1 Rescheduled

Due to the rain-out of the first round in March, the race that will go on record as the first in the 2009 JBRL Electric series has been rescheduled to May 24th. Mark your calendars!

Changes to the club racing schedule!

Important Update for club racers!

Effective April 1, 2009 there will be a change in our club racing start times, for both Tuesday nights and Saturday afternoons. Due to great turn outs we've been getting, with over 100 entries per club race, we will be moving up the start times of our weekly club races. Starting April 1st, we will begin Tuesday night racing at 6:00pm and Saturday afternoon club racing at 2:00pm. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, but it's the only way to continue providing efficient club racing and ensure everyone gets home at a decent hour. Thank you.

JBRL Electric Series Round 1 Rain Delay

Mother Nature is not a racing fan, it seems! The downpour on Sunday morning just wouldn't allow the highly anticipated JBRL Electric Series Round #1 to get underway. The Hot Rod Hobbies-hosted round #1 will be rescheduled, while round #2 at Revelations Raceway in Ontario will be the first race of the series, on April 19th.

Don't forget, however, that we will be hosting the second round OC/RC's Saturday Series this coming weekend, March 28th!

JBRL Electric Series Round 1, This Sunday!

The new track is in and the locals have responded with great enthusiasm...those of you who are planning to attend the first race of the JBRL Electric Series this year at Hot Rod Hobbies are in for a great time! Weathermen are predicting a slight chance of rain; but Jimmy assures everyone that there will be racing, no matter what!

For those of you who want that extra edge over the competition, don't forget that we hold club races every Saturday, starting at 5:00pm...and the track will be open for practice at 10:00am on Saturday morning. Practice fee is $7.00 or if you choose to participate in the club racing, your fee is $12 and that includes all-day access for practice.

Sunday morning, the gates open at 6:00am for JBRL Electric Round 1. Practice will be held from 6:00am-8:00am, with the driver's meeting at 8:30am and racing to start promptly at 9:00am.

Time for a track re-build - Sunday, March 8th

The new racing season approaches, and with the first round of the JBRL electric series and the second round of OC/RC's Saturday Series both being hosted by Hot Rod Hobbies, it's time to tear up the dirt and put in a brand new layout! Jimmy and the crew are asking for volunteers to come lend a hand on Sunday (March 8th). Show up between 10:00am and noon on Sunday and work till the track is completed, and you'll receive a free month of club racing, valid from March 8 until April 8! Not to mention free pizza, sodas and water for all our workers.
