2009 Major Events at Hot Rod Hobbies

Jimmy Babcock has announced the current schedule of major racing events to be held at Hot Rod Hobbies in 2009! Among them are the annual Off-Road Shootout and Reedy Truck Race of Champions, as well as the JBRL races! OC/RC Raceway in Huntington Beach is also bringing round two of their Saturday Series to Hot Rod Hobbies, in March. Shaping up to be a busy year of big races here at Hot Rod's...here's the breakdown:

JBRL Electric Series Round #1 – March 22, 2009
OC R/C Raceway Saturday Series Round #2 @ HRH - March 28, 2009
Hot Rod Hobbies Offroad Shootout - July 10-12, 2009
Reedy Truck Race of Champions - September 25-27, 2009
JBRL Electric Series Round #8 (Finals) – October 17-18, 2009
JBRL Nitro Series Round #8 (Finals) – November 14-15, 2009

There's also a newly-revamped section of the website for club racers! Direct your attention to the Racing section and you will be greeted with a new page listing all the classes currently offered by Hot Rod's, in both off-road and paved oval, as well as past and current club racing points series results! My results only go back one series, however the current results will be updated every week - so you can check on your progress in the series and see how you stack up against the competition! I'll also be announcing club racing winners on the main page of the site...if you can't have the fortune, why not the fame?
